Welcome to Aurora Borealis Stables

We are located on 100 acres of prime land with additional 150 acres fenced in pastures, in the state of Montana, USA.
Our farm has the old feel to it, but has all the modern facilities and means to function well in todays top breeding and showing.

ABS was founded way back in the 1860s, around the time of the American Civil War and has ever since been a farm that focuses on horsebreeding, and during the last decades, also on showing and training.

Imagine a hidden place, rich with all the beauty of your night time dreams, then you know where to find us. That's a quote from a movie, but it fits us perfectly like a glove. Our surroundings are incredibly beautiful and our ancestors couldn't have picked a better or more beautiful spot to start their farm on.

We do occasionally experience the Northern Lights, but it's a rare sight. Our ancestors however came from way up north, where it's a common experience, hence the name, Aurora Borealis is the latin name for the Northern Lights.

We are focusing on all kinds of breeds and disciplines, but right now it's eventers, dressage and racing, with a little sidetrack in hunter and halter. Our trainers are the best of the best and we are very happy with the progress our horses are doing.
